A seasoned professional with a diverse history. Having a proven track record of success in design, entrepreneurship and leadership, I have honed my skills and developed a unique perspective that allows me to approach challenges with creativity and innovation.
My Story
My professional journey began unconventionally, but it has been a defining factor in shaping who I am today. Through my passion racing motocross, I learned the values of resilience, hard work, and overcoming obstacles early on in life. As I pursued my love for racing, I also started my own business, which grew into the largest independent manufacturer of motocross decals in South Africa and possibly the entire continent.
After successfully running the business for 12 years, I realized my passion for business and decided to pursue higher education to take it to the next level. I earned my Bachelor of Commerce and continued to build my knowledge and skillset by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Aston Business School, passing with a distinction.
After selling my company in 2020, I pivoted my career towards UX, a field that combines my passion for design and business. I find the mix of creative and strategic thinking fulfilling, and I am excited to apply my diverse experience to new challenges. I currently work for an large association in Canada where I am a Senior UX designer.

As a professional, I am guided by a set of core values that inform my work and shape who I am. These values include integrity, open and honest communication, balance, hard work, courage, gratitude, humility, and kindness.
For me, integrity means always doing the right thing, even when it's not easy. Open and honest communication is key to building strong relationships, and I strive to maintain this level of communication with all those I work with.
Balancing my work and personal life is important to me, as is putting in the hard work necessary to achieve my goals. I believe that having the courage to take risks and learn from failure is essential for growth and success. I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and approach each day with a sense of humility and kindness towards others.
